Tours and School Visits
Come together to explore Craft Contemporary’s exhibitions and learn about craft! All groups with over 10 people should make a reservation by filling out the appropriate form below. Reservations require a minimum of three weeks' notice.
School Visits
All school tours and workshops are currently virtual. Groups of 15 - 45 can “visit” on Tuesdays through Thursdays. Virtual visits may take between 50 minutes and 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Virtual School Tour (3rd - 12th Grade)
Join a museum educator for a discussion about works on view at the museum and fun interactive activities using materials that can be found at home such as paper and pencil.
FEES: Free to all school groups
Virtual School Tour + Workshop (3rd - 12th Grade)
As well as discussions about current exhibitions, these tours include a workshop exploring craft materials and processes. Students will be provided with a materials kit. Schools must be able to coordinate pick-up and delivery of materials kits to students.
FEES: Free for Title 1 public schools
$5 Materials fee per student for all other school groups
Adult Group
Tours
College level and other adult groups can schedule a virtual or in-person tour to explore current exhibitions. Tours may take between 45 minutes and 1 hour.
Virtual Group Tours
Join us live online for a discussion about works on view and engage with craft ideas and processes utilized by artists at the museum.
FEES: Suggested donation of $50 per group
In-Person Group Tours
Join a museum guide to learn about works on view or schedule a self-guided tour to explore the galleries on your own. Masks must be worn at all times by all attendees. See our Visit page for more information on our COVID-19 protocols, and information about parking and accessibility.
