School Programs
Bring your students to explore Craft Contemporary’s exhibitions, get creative in hands-on workshops, and learn about craft! All school groups must make a reservation. Reservations require a minimum of four to six weeks' notice.

VIRTUAL
School Tour + Workshop
3rd to 12th Grade
Tuesday thru Friday weekly, time variable
As well as discussions about current exhibitions, these tours include a workshop exploring craft materials and processes. Students will be provided with a materials kit. Schools must be able to coordinate pick-up and delivery of materials kits to students. Virtual visits may take between 50 minutes and 1 hour and 30 minutes.
FEES: Free for Title 1 public schools
$5 Materials kit fee per student for all other school groups

IN-PERSON
School Tour + Workshops
3rd to 12th Grade
Tuesdays thru Thursdays weekly, from 10:30 AM
Our two-hour Guided Tour + Workshop includes interactive discussions in the galleries and a hands-on activity exploring craft media and processes in the studio. School groups can bring lunches and enjoy them in our courtyard or across the street at the park near the La Brea Tar Pitts.
Elementary Schools: 20 - 45 students per visit.
The group must provide 1 chaperone for every 6 students.
Middle & High Schools: 20 - 50 students per visit.
The group must provide 1 chaperone for every 10 students.
FEES: Free admission to all schools with registration. Title 1 public schools may be eligible for a limited number of bus stipends. Further details upon request.

IN-PERSON
Self-Guided School Visit
3rd to 12th Grade
Tuesday thru Friday weekly, 11 AM - 5 PM
Register for a Self-Guided tour-only visit and explore the galleries with your students.
Elementary Schools
The group must provide 1 chaperone for every 6 students.
Middle & High Schools
The group must provide 1 chaperone for every 10 students.
If there are more than 25 students, the class must be split into two or more groups to explore the galleries.
FEES: Free admission to all schools with registration.
