Gin & Ingenuity: Online Cocktail Workshop with Nathan Hazard

In this course, students will learn cocktail mixology basics and get a crash course on the tumultuous history of gin; the Blue Ruin, Prohibition’s darling and muse to many great minds dating back to the 13th century. Students will create two classic gin cocktails with guidance and technique tutorials, covering tools, methods and ingredients. We will also discuss how to construct a cocktail and ways to balance flavors to create unique craft cocktail experiences. Students will finish by creating a signature holiday cocktail fresher than pinecone coffee.

Registration fee includes a full 8-piece cocktail tool kit, which contains a shaker tin set, mixing glass, strainers, mixing spoons, multi level jigger, and more. Modifiers and individual ingredients are also included in registration fee. Participants will be responsible for their own spirit, a suggested list of other supplies will be provided for participants to prepare for the workshop. Must be 21 years of age or older.
