Introduction to Blacksmithing With Adam’s Forge 

Learn fundamental techniques of blacksmithing and forging hot metal to create a letter opener! Participants will also learn safety practices and be introduced to basic skills and tools such as proper choice of tongs to hold hot steel, steel twisting using a vice and twisting wrench, along with tapering, and forging blades with full-face and half-face hammer blows. This class is appropriate for all levels. 

Cost of workshop includes materials and furnace fee.

This workshop takes place offsite at Adam’s Forge, 2910 Humboldt St, Los Angeles, CA 90031.
