Maker Night x Crafting Histories: Appliqué Banners with Dellis Frank 

Join teaching artist Dellis Frank as we create fabric appliqué banners inspired by the vibrant, whimsical, and playful designs of midcentury designers Evelyn and Jerome Ackerman seen in Material Curiosity by Design. Dellis, our most recent Crafting Histories teaching artist, will guide participants through the process of layering fabric to build bold compositions. Crafting Histories alumni are especially invited to reconnect and create together, though everyone is welcome to join. 

Crafting Histories is designed specifically for adults over 55 years, these 8-week craft workshops are designed to give older adults the skills to take a particular craft process to the next level. Previous workshops have included ceramics, fiber arts jewelry design and book making.
