Swirl, spiral, and glue threads to create yarn paintings! Participants will use different textured and colored yarns to create a yarn portrait of an animal that represents their personality and character. Don’t forget to visit Diedrick Brackens’ woven yarn tapestries in our galleries to learn about Brackens’ use of the catfish, a strong and resilient animal, to symbolize parts of himself and his cultural history. Craft Lab is for all ages, and everyone is welcome!
