Denim Paper Making with Mahdiyyah Muhammad

Discover how textile waste can be transformed into something meaningful in this hands-on workshop! Using discarded denim, participants will create functional stationery while exploring sustainable practices that prioritize environmental health. Our teaching artist Mahdiyyah Muhammad will also highlight the impact of extractive textile systems on Black and Indigenous communities and teach us ways to upcycle responsibly. Leave with unique creations and skills to reduce waste while making a positive social and environmental impact.
