Maker-in-Residence featuring Jackie Amézquita

Artist Jackie Amézquita will be on-site at Craft Contemporary as part of our Maker-in-Residence program. Visitors are invited to meet and speak with Jackie, and get a glimpse into her studio practice.

Using soil gathered from around the United States, Jackie will be mixing the gathered soil with masa, cacao, spring water, and copal to form pebble-like sculptures coming from the palm of her hand.
