Maker Night: Burning Love~ A Mental Health Collage Night with NETA Zine
Thursday, February 4, 2027 6:00pm - 8:00pm $12 public / members free
Burning Love is a mental health–focused collage and art-making experience centered on exploring passion, desire, self-worth, and emotional resilience. Through guided reflection and creative expression, participants will use collage to visually represent what fuels their inner fire- what they love, desire, and are reclaiming for their well-being. This event offers a judgment-free, affirming space that encourages healing, self-discovery, and community connection through art.
About NETA Zine:
NETA Zine was Founded in 2014 by Daniel “Chino” Rodriguez and Erik Barrios Recendez amid political unrest and the unfolding of their identities as QPOC living in the San Gabriel Valley. Neta Zine is a digital rasquache archive that celebrates Identities through redefining culture and LGBTQIA+ history. Local artists are invited to post and curate the social media feed as a form of collaboration. Deeply rooted in DIY zine culture, pop up events become creative safe spaces to celebrate uncensored art with the Neta Zine Collective. Participants are invited to bring materials to share and add to a creative art making archive.
This program will be held outdoors.
