Nothing Wasted: Recycled Clay in Practice

Learn techniques for reclaiming and reusing clay in this hands-on workshop led by Jamiee Zhuge and Andy Cepollina. Attendees will explore why recycling clay is essential for a more sustainable art practice, work with recycled clay, and learn about a program the teaching artists are developing to reduce clay waste throughout Los Angeles (and how you can get involved)! Together, we’ll practice a more intentional approach to using natural materials while making the most of this beautiful and precious resource that brings us so much joy and function in our daily lives.
