This drop-in workshop gives you the opportunity to learn about the incredible plants that grow across the LA river used for weaving by the Tongva, Tataviam, and Chumash. As a way of engaging with this history and ongoing practice, you will get to do some weaving yourself using small frame looms and a variety of yarn colors and textures.
All ages welcome!
