Symbol & Stitch: Narrative Bead Weaving with Nicki Kate Delgado

Pins, badges, and brooches have long served many functions. Evolving from the basic use of fastening garments, these items can be full of symbolic meaning and talismanic purpose. In this 3-course workshop, teaching artist, Nicki Kate Delgado, will guide participants through the gradual, meditative process of grid-based design and square-stitch bead weaving to create a beaded pin that tells a story and carries an intention of one’s own choosing.
