Week 9: IAO Olfactory Storylab Maker-In-Residence

Each Saturday, a new guest artist or perfumer will activate the IAO Olfactory Storylab, inviting visitors to explore the intersection of scent and storytelling in this interactive, hands-on lab.

This week: Persephenie (Persephenie Botanicals)

Persphenie is a creative with interests in art, design, and the olfactory. Her expertise is in perfumery and incense, and she moonlights as a painter and crafter. With personal shifting priorities and existing in complex times, sharing a different aspect of her work and offering experiential encounters feels intimately important and relevant. She opened her aromatic studio in 2004, and has been teaching scent related classes since 2006. She has a small, specialized line using natural and rare materials, and occasionally she develops scent for other brands. She looks forward to extending her art into new experiences.
